Kelly Bailey is a financial writer and content strategist with over 15 years of experience. Kelly has written extensively on diverse topics within the financial services, fintech and capital markets sectors. Her background includes marketing and communications roles at BNY Mellon, stock exchange company BATS Global Markets (now CBOE Global Markets), and as a corporate investor relations officer for a legal tech company. Most recently, she worked as a freelance writer for fintech companies specializing in alternative investments.
Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Kelly has lived and worked in London and New York City. She holds a master’s degree in Marketing Communications and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas.

Outside of work

Kelly enjoys spending time with her Australian cattle dog exploring the nature trails and parks around her home outside of Kansas City. She also loves reading, movies, and cooking, and is fascinated by psychology.
