Remote-First

Our physical home may be in Vancouver, Canada, but our team members span the globe. We’re proud to be a remote-first company designed to support team members who work from home and across different time zones. This means we offer clear and flexible working hours, honor communication preferences outside of work hours, and trust in our team members to get the job done.

Aligned and Goal-Oriented

We’re big believers that great things happen when an entire company rows together in the same direction towards a common goal. At CFI, we achieve this by prioritizing clear and frequent communication and an organized approach to planning and goal-setting. By linking company goals to department goals, team goals, and individual goals, we ensure that everyone is aligned and moving in the same direction, with a shared understanding of what success looks like.

Focused on Focus

We believe in the importance of balancing productive meetings with uninterrupted focus time. To ensure everyone has the space to work in a flow state, we have implemented Focus Wednesdays, a company-wide, meeting-free day. And, once every quarter, we extend that to Focus Week—an entire week without scheduled meetings.

Of course, spontaneous ad-hoc conversations and collaboration still happen—and are encouraged—during our focus time. But by setting aside dedicated time to enjoy a wide-open calendar, we aim to reduce meeting fatigue and create a culture that values the benefits of uninterrupted work time.
